3D Scanning & Metrology Field Operations Manager

About the role

Immensa is expanding its digital inventory model and seeks a 3D Scanning & Metrology Field Operations Manager to lead the delivery of scanning, inspection and part digitisation projects for industrial customers in Dubai and across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and lead field deployments for industrial part scanning and validation, managing site logistics, equipment readiness and team allocation.
• Develop and maintain repeatable deployment playbooks for various customer environments, part types and project scopes.
• Oversee execution of 3D scanning and metrology workflows using optical, laser, structured‑light and portable metrology systems.
• Ensure scan data accuracy, repeatability and traceability, and that outputs meet quality and compliance standards.
• Own the end‑to‑end process from physical part intake through to validated digital assets, including point‑cloud processing, Scan‑to‑CAD, dimensional validation and hardness testing.
• Drive continuous improvement to increase throughput, reduce cycle time and enhance first‑time‑right quality.
• Scale operational capacity as activity levels grow, building the systems required for rapid scale‑up.

Required profile

• Hands‑on operations leader with experience managing field teams and hardware workflows in an industrial setting.
• Proven ability to plan and execute complex field deployments safely and efficiently.
• Strong focus on quality, compliance and repeatable processes.
• Experience improving operational throughput and cycle times.
