Accountant (Dubai)

About the role

Al Bustanji Group is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to support daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting across its entities in Dubai. The role requires strong knowledge of UAE financial regulations and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, payables and receivables.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Handle bank reconciliations and monitor cash‑flow movements.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for audits and reporting.
• Monitor expenses, payments and financial transactions across multiple entities.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders as needed.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of all accounting records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT and UAE Corporate Tax.
• Experience preparing financial reports and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, CMA) are a plus.
• Automotive industry experience is a plus.
• Currently based in Dubai, UAE.
