Assistant Manager – Assembly Line

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to lead daily production output and yield on both cylindrical and LiPo battery pack assembly lines. The role is hands‑on, requiring you to troubleshoot weld quality, run stations, and guide the team through PFMEA sessions as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Own daily production output and yield across cylindrical and LiPo assembly lines.
• Troubleshoot weld quality, operate stations, and lead PFMEA sessions on the shop floor.
• Maintain SOP discipline, control plans, and shift routines for the technician team.
• Coach, develop, and manage a multi‑shift technician workforce.
• Commission and ramp new battery assembly lines from equipment‑in to first production.

Required profile

• 6–10 years of experience in lithium‑ion or lithium‑polymer battery pack assembly.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory, shift‑in‑charge, or line‑in‑charge role.
• Experience with UAV/drone battery pack assembly lines (both LiPo pouch and cylindrical Li‑ion).
• Willingness to work on the floor, run stations, and demonstrate welding techniques.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Industrial Engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
