About the role
The Assistant Manager – Human Resources will join Home Centre’s People & Culture team in Dubai, supporting HR operations, manpower planning, project coordination and employee engagement across the concept portfolio. Reporting to the Senior Manager – Human Resources, the role combines transactional HR duties with people‑focused initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Drive employee engagement programmes, cultural events, recognition initiatives and team‑building activities, managing logistics and vendor relationships.
- Organise HR connect sessions, focus groups and pulse‑check conversations, ensuring insights are captured and acted upon.
- Maintain the live headcount plan, track vacancies, pipeline status and attrition projections, and prepare quarterly manpower summaries.
- Analyse attrition data, benchmark external practices and support the design of people‑centric policies.
- Own coordination and delivery of HR projects, managing timelines, cross‑functional dependencies and communication of updates.
- Prepare and publish HR communications, policy updates and process reminders.
- Support performance management, conduct exit interviews and contribute to retention strategies.
