Boiler Technician II – Service & Maintenance

About the role

ICON Boiler is seeking a skilled Boiler Technician II to join our growing service team in the Southeast. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing hot‑water and steam boiler systems in commercial and industrial environments, ensuring safe and efficient operation for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of hot‑water and steam boiler systems.
• Set up burners and manage combustion on dual‑fuel systems.
• Apply combustion theory to ensure optimal boiler performance.
• Conduct preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed.
• Prepare for on‑site installations by reviewing building layouts, gathering materials, and coordinating work.
• Inspect and maintain service vehicles and tools, keeping accurate service records.
• Document work performed on each job and maintain organized files.
• Provide technical support and guidance to fellow technicians.
• Interact directly with customers, addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.

Required profile

• Level 2 boiler service experience in commercial or industrial settings.
• Strong understanding of electrical control and motor wiring.
• Ability to coach and guide other technicians.
• Flexibility to work overtime or weekends when required.
• Professional, courteous communication with customers.
