Consultant Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Specialist – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant/ Specialist in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) to lead our expanding rehabilitation and pain management division in Dubai. The role involves delivering advanced, multidisciplinary care to a diverse international patient base within a state‑of‑the‑art, JCI‑accredited facility.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage musculoskeletal, neurological and functional impairments.
• Design and implement individualized rehabilitation programs for stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, chronic pain and sports injuries.
• Perform interventional procedures such as joint injections, nerve blocks and ultrasound‑guided treatments.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists and pain specialists.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans and provide post‑operative rehabilitation guidance.
• Lead pain‑management strategies, including non‑surgical and minimally invasive approaches.
• Educate patients and families on recovery pathways and preventive care.
• Maintain clinical documentation in line with DHA and international standards and participate in audits and CME activities.

Required profile

• Board‑certified PM&R specialist (ABPMR, UK CCT/GMC, European, Canadian, Australian, Arab Board, FCPS, MD/DNB/FNB).
• Minimum 3–5 years post‑board clinical experience.
• Eligibility for DHA licensure or an active DHA license.
• Strong record of multidisciplinary collaboration and patient‑centred care.
