DevOps Manager – Lead Infrastructure & CI/CD

About the role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Manager to lead infrastructure and deployment operations for our core banking platform built on SDK.finance. You will be responsible for overseeing bare‑metal server environments, CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high availability and security of our banking services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimize bare‑metal server infrastructure for production and development, including capacity planning and scaling.
• Design and implement high‑availability architectures, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Own and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines, implementing deployment strategies such as blue‑green, canary, and rolling releases for Java/Spring Boot, React Native, and Node.js services.
• Ensure 99.9%+ uptime of core banking services, manage PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases, and oversee Apache Kafka cluster reliability.
• Implement security best practices, manage SSL/TLS certificates, secrets, and ensure compliance with PCI‑DSS and data‑sovereignty regulations.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of DevOps/SRE engineers, define KPIs, and foster a culture of automation and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Development and QA teams and manage vendor and third‑party integrations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE roles with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
• Proven experience managing bare‑metal server infrastructure at scale.
• Strong background in financial services, banking, or fintech environments.
• Experience designing high‑availability systems handling thousands of TPS.
