Early Years Teacher – EYFS (British Curriculum)

About the role

Al Rabeeh Academy is seeking experienced and passionate Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) teachers to join its international British‑curriculum school in Abu Dhabi from August 2026. The role involves delivering high‑quality early years education, creating a nurturing and inclusive environment, and supporting the social, emotional and academic development of the youngest learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, play‑based EYFS curriculum aligned with the English National Curriculum.
• Foster a safe, stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes curiosity and independence.
• Assess and monitor children’s progress, providing tailored feedback to parents and senior staff.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the school to integrate AI‑driven learning tools and interdisciplinary projects.
• Contribute to pastoral care, ensuring the wellbeing and resilience of each child.

Required profile

• Relevant early years teaching qualification (e.g., Early Years Teacher Status, B.Ed in Early Childhood).
• Experience teaching EYFS or equivalent age group in an international or British‑curriculum setting.
• Commitment to the Academy’s values of Respect, Responsibility and Resilience.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the English National Curriculum for early years.
• Proficiency in play‑based and inquiry‑based teaching methodologies.
• Strong classroom management and assessment skills.
