Early Years Teacher – Start August 2026

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join Pearl British Academy in August 2026. The successful candidate will deliver the English National Curriculum to young learners, fostering a supportive and engaging classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver outstanding lessons in line with the school’s Teaching and Learning Policy.
• Create a climate conducive to learning and set clear objectives and targets for each pupil.
• Identify and differentiate for SEN, EAL and gifted & talented students.
• Use assessment for learning and performance data to inform planning.
• Integrate ICT effectively to enhance learning.
• Maintain discipline according to the Behaviour for Learning Policy.
• Mark work regularly, record progress and set targets.
• Prepare reports for parents and support school events.
• Contribute to curriculum development and scheme of work updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• 1‑2 years experience teaching Early Years in the English National Curriculum.
• Commitment to the school’s vision, values and ongoing professional development.
• Strong knowledge of child protection and safeguarding.

Required skills

• ICT proficiency for classroom use.
