Fleet Manager – Fleet Operations (Dubai)

About the role

The Fleet Manager – Fleet Operations will support the senior Fleet Manager in overseeing and optimizing fleet activities across the UAE and GCC. The role focuses on middle‑mile and last‑mile logistics, cross‑border coordination, and ensuring compliance with regional transport regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily fleet operations, including vehicle dispatch, routing, and scheduling.
• Monitor vehicle utilisation, fuel consumption, and driver performance using telematics and fleet management systems.
• Ensure timely delivery and pickup for middle‑mile and last‑mile operations.
• Coordinate cross‑border fleet movements across GCC countries and manage customs, border control, and transport compliance.
• Maintain documentation for audits, regulatory inspections, and vehicle licensing, insurance, and emissions standards.
• Collaborate with freight forwarders and customs agents to ensure smooth transit.

Required profile

• 6–10 years of experience in fleet operations, preferably within logistics, e‑commerce, or transportation sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
• Valid UAE driving licence; GCC experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE and GCC transport regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with fleet management software such as Fleet Complete, Teletrac, and TMS.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities.
