Guest Relations Team Leader

About the role

The Guest Relations Team Leader will ensure a welcoming, professional experience for all guests at Jumeirah Beach Hotel. This role combines front‑of‑house service excellence with leadership of junior staff to maintain the brand’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet arriving guests, allocate seating, and uphold service standards.
• Handle guest complaints and feedback calmly, escalating issues when necessary.
• Manage the reservation system to optimise covers and restaurant flow.
• Maintain thorough product knowledge, describe offerings, and take accurate orders.
• Coordinate function bookings, liaising with Front‑of‑House, Back‑of‑House and clients.
• Ensure compliance with local licensing laws and promote responsible alcohol service.
• Explain the brand’s concept, history and vision to guests.
• Complete end‑of‑day paperwork, organise work, and train junior colleagues.
• Collaborate with the Rooms Division Assistant Guest Relations Manager and Concierge to deliver seamless experiences and cross‑sell F&B outlets.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of relevant hospitality experience.
• Proven ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Effective problem‑solving and communication skills.
