Head Nurse – State‑of‑the‑Art Clinic in Jumeirah Village Circle

About the role

Al-Futtaim Health is looking for an experienced Head Nurse to lead the nursing team at its modern clinic in Jumeirah Village Circle, Dubai. The role combines clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities to ensure high‑quality patient care and efficient clinic operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of 8‑15 nursing staff, maintaining high standards of patient care.
• Oversee daily clinical activities, delegate assignments and mentor nursing personnel.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in line with regulatory and organisational standards.
• Serve as liaison between multidisciplinary teams to support seamless patient journeys.
• Ensure compliance with infection‑control, medication‑safety and confidentiality protocols.
• Drive continuous improvement, staff development and implementation of best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• DHA licence (or eligibility) as a Registered Nurse – mandatory.
• BLS certification mandatory; ACLS/PALS certification a plus.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience in a clinical setting, preferably accredited.
• At least 2 years in a charge‑nurse or nursing‑leadership role, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong computer literacy and comfort with digital health systems.

• ECG interpretation.
• Spirometry testing.
• Wound care management.
• Immunisation administration.
• IV drug administration.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – optional.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – optional.
• Use of digital health record systems.
