Head Waiter / Headwaitress – Lead Front‑of‑House Service

About the role

Sirene by Gaia, a refined Mediterranean restaurant in Dubai, is looking for a polished Head Waiter/Headwaitress to lead its front‑of‑house team. The role focuses on delivering seamless, personalized service and upholding the brand’s high hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and coach the service team during daily operations.
• Provide attentive, professional and personalized guest service throughout the dining experience.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar to ensure timely order delivery.
• Maintain table setup, cleanliness and overall dining‑room presentation.
• Handle guest inquiries, feedback and special requests with professionalism.
• Support reservation flow and seating coordination as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Assist management in achieving service quality and operational goals.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Headwaiter, Senior Waiter or similar role in a fine‑dining or upscale restaurant.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Professional appearance and guest‑focused attitude.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of menu items, ingredients, allergens, wine pairings and specials.
• Excellent knowledge of food, beverages and fine‑dining etiquette.
• Ability to multitask and solve problems efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
