Hotel Director (Shipboard)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Hotel Director to lead the hotel operations aboard a luxury cruise vessel. The role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while managing all aspects of the hotel department.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day ship hotel operations and ensure seamless guest services.
• Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction through prompt issue resolution and proactive service.
• Control inventory levels to meet operational targets.
• Manage the hotel department’s financial performance, including budgeting, expense control and revenue generation.
• Develop and implement tactical plans to achieve financial goals and improve operational efficiency.
• Identify and launch new revenue‑enhancing initiatives.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience as a Hotel Director or General Manager in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel.
• Strong leadership and business ownership mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to interact courteously with guests.
• Experience in shipboard guest services is an advantage.
