IT Security Officer

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time, on‑site IT Security Officer to join our team in Dubai. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a corporate‑wide cyber security management program, ensuring that all information assets are protected against evolving threats.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor a strategic enterprise information security and IT risk management program.
• Collaborate with the CTO and all IT functions to conduct cyber security risk assessments.
• Evaluate the IT threat landscape, lead auditing and compliance initiatives, and prepare security reports and guidelines.
• Administer security devices such as firewalls, core switches, web‑filtering and spam‑filtering solutions in coordination with infrastructure and cloud teams.
• Conduct periodic security checks, penetration testing, vulnerability assessments and backup restoration verification for production systems.
• Manage cyber security incident response, track issues, and support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
• Provide training and workshops to raise cyber security awareness across the INDEX Holding group.
• Review audit findings and work with auditors to resolve security issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience in designing and operating enterprise‑wide information security programs.
• Strong understanding of IT risk management, compliance standards and audit processes.
• Ability to work closely with senior IT leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills for delivering training and reporting to stakeholders.
