Lead Design Architect

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Design Architect to join an international architecture practice in Dubai. The role focuses on front‑end design, concept creation and design thinking, guiding projects from the earliest narrative stage through to developed concept presentations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creative direction for high‑profile developments across the Middle East, including high‑rise, hospitality, luxury residential, branded residences and mixed‑use projects.
• Develop compelling architectural narratives and conceptual designs, translating client briefs into clear visual and verbal presentations.
• Collaborate closely with clients, internal leadership and multidisciplinary teams across multiple offices.
• Mentor and guide design teams, ensuring design quality and consistency throughout the concept phase.
• Present design ideas confidently to stakeholders and build trust throughout the design process.

Required profile

• Minimum 9 years of post‑qualification experience in internationally recognised architecture practices.
• Strong international design background with a portfolio of ambitious, design‑led projects.
• Extensive experience delivering projects in the Middle East and deep understanding of the regional market, client expectations and environmental considerations.
• Excellent presentation and client‑facing communication skills.
• Proven leadership and mentoring capability within design teams.
