Legal Advisor – Corporate & Regulatory Law

About the role

The organization seeks a Legal Advisor to provide expert counsel across a range of legal matters, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. You will support leadership by delivering clear legal opinions, drafting contracts, and managing risk.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal instruments.
• Provide legal opinions on governance, compliance, procurement, and regulatory affairs.
• Conduct legal research and prepare briefs, reports, and recommendations for senior management.
• Review and advise on institutional policies, procedures, and internal frameworks.
• Liaise with external counsel and relevant government authorities as required.
• Identify potential legal risks and propose mitigation measures.
• Support dispute resolution and manage legal proceedings when necessary.
• Ensure all organizational activities comply with applicable legal requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); Master’s degree or professional qualification is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in governmental, semi‑governmental, or international organizations.
• Full professional proficiency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
• Strong knowledge of local laws and regulatory frameworks.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional judgment.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
