About the role
The Legal Associate will provide hands‑on support to the legal function across Ohana Development and AISO. This position focuses on contract review, legal documentation, and administrative legal matters, offering a solid foundation for a detail‑oriented professional seeking commercial legal experience in a multi‑entity corporate environment.
Key responsibilities
- Review, draft, and assist in negotiating standard and intermediate‑level contracts, NDAs, service agreements, vendor and consultancy agreements.
- Identify legal and commercial risks, escalating complex issues to senior legal stakeholders.
- Support contract amendments, renewals, extensions, and variations while ensuring compliance with templates, policies, and legal requirements.
- Act as the first point of coordination for legal requests across Ohana, AISO, and Group entities, prioritising based on urgency and risk.
- Maintain organized legal records, contract repositories, and document‑management systems, ensuring proper filing, indexing, and version control.
- Prepare legal summaries, trackers, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Conduct legal research and assist with ad‑hoc projects, handling confidential information with professionalism.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
- 1–3 years of experience in a corporate legal department or reputable law firm.
- Hands‑on exposure to contract review, legal drafting, and corporate documentation.
- Prior UAE legal or corporate experience with familiarity of local business practices and regulatory environment.
