Maternity Nurse – Royal Household (Amman, Jordan)

About the role

The Royal Household in Amman seeks a highly specialised Maternity Nurse to provide dedicated newborn care for twin infants of a VIP family member during the post‑natal period. This 24‑hour, 7‑day‑a‑week role demands advanced neonatal expertise, utmost discretion, and the ability to work within an immersive household environment.

Key responsibilities

• Physical care of the newborns, including feeding, bathing, settling, and sleep structuring.
• Full night care with bottle‑feeding and continuous monitoring.
• Communicating infant development progress to parents.
• Accompanying babies to medical appointments as required.
• Traveling domestically and internationally with the family, including holiday and visit preparations.
• Maintaining and sterilising all baby equipment (sterilisers, car seats, prams, etc.).
• Ensuring nursery hygiene and safe sterilisation protocols.
• Keeping the provided accommodation tidy and organised.
• Coordinating with the permanent nanny and household team.

Required profile

• Recognised Maternity Nurse certification.
• Infant First Aid & CPR certification.
• Relevant childcare or nursing qualifications.
• Proven experience in newborn care, preferably with twins.
• Excellent references from private families or UHNW/royal environments.
• Fluent English and a calm, refined, professional demeanor.
• Full flexibility to work a 24/7 care structure.
