Medical Education Technical Support Specialist

About the role

The Medical Education Technical Support Specialist acts as a bridge between faculty and the development team, ensuring that medical education platforms are implemented, maintained, and continuously improved. You will support faculty training, collect and analyse feedback, and assist with minor development tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers to implement and configure medical education tools, translating academic needs into functional specifications.
• Conduct training sessions, create user guides, and provide one‑on‑one support for faculty using educational systems.
• Gather and analyse feedback on system usability and educational effectiveness, preparing reports and recommendations.
• Serve as liaison between faculty and developers, participating in meetings to discuss feature enhancements and system updates.
• Ensure that implemented solutions align with medical curricula, assessment strategies, and accreditation standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT in education or a related field.
• Experience in medical education environments such as medical colleges or academic institutions.
• Strong understanding of medical curricula, assessment frameworks, and accreditation standards.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
