About the role
The Operations Coordinator supports daily operational activities by routing work requests, generating work orders, and ensuring accurate documentation. The role acts as a liaison between engineers, supervisors, and team leaders to keep projects on schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Assign and communicate non‑priority‑1 calls to the appropriate engineers, supervisors, and team leaders.
- Create work orders for corrective maintenance (CM), medium‑weight (MW), and quality inspection requests (QIR).
- Prepare remedies, complete work orders, and file them for billing and variable work order processing.
- Compile purchase requisitions and forward them to the relevant department.
- Enter material transactions and labour reporting data into Oracle.
- Generate quotations, maintain related records, and manage supporting documentation.
- Maintain organized filing systems for all work orders and related paperwork.
Required profile
- Higher Secondary Certificate (12th grade) mandatory; diploma preferred.
- 2‑5 years of relevant experience in operations or administrative coordination.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and result‑orientation.
- Flexibility in grooming and appearance; basic English communication skills.
- Additional language proficiency is an advantage.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using Oracle for material punching and labour reporting.
