Operations Supervisor – Central Edging Facility

About the role

As an Operations Supervisor at ZEISS Vision Care you will lead the day‑to‑day activities of the Central Edging Facility in Al Quoz, Dubai. You will ensure efficient, high‑quality processing of customer orders while delivering an exceptional experience in a fast‑paced optical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Central Edging Facility, coordinating workflows and allocating resources based on priorities.
• Set team objectives, monitor performance, and ensure jobs are processed following the First Come, First Serve principle.
• Lead regular team meetings, communicate priorities and follow up on actions.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
• Maintain compliance with ZEISS global quality standards and oversee quality‑control activities.
• Monitor turnaround times, delivery performance and take corrective actions to meet customer commitments.
• Coach, develop and motivate the CEF team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to drive continuous‑improvement initiatives and uphold global standards.
