Part-Time Human Resources Officer (UAE National)

About the role

The Human Resources Officer will support managers in delivering an excellent staff experience at a luxury hotel. This part‑time position focuses on policy guidance, succession planning, employee relations and HR administration.

Key responsibilities

• Advise managers on HR policies and procedures.
• Manage succession planning during bi‑annual appraisals.
• Handle employee relations matters confidentially, including disciplinaries, grievances and capability issues.
• Monitor employee absence in line with company guidelines.
• Maintain the online personnel and payroll systems and produce monthly reports.
• Oversee recruitment, selection and immigration checks.
• Identify departmental training needs and ensure completion of safety and security training.
• Organise team‑member social events and promote hospitality careers with local schools and organisations.
• Promote staff benefits and resolve queries from team members and management.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Human Resources Officer or in a comparable role.
• Positive attitude with strong communication and people skills.
• Commitment to high‑level internal and external customer service.
• Professional grooming standards and flexibility to adapt to varied situations.
• Ability to work under pressure, independently or as part of a team.

Required skills

• CIPD qualification or progress towards it (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of hospitality operations.
• Good understanding of employment law and employee‑relations practices.
• General IT proficiency.
