Patient Relations Executive

About the role

The Patient Relations Executive provides end‑to‑end operational support to patients, ensuring smooth handling of insurance, appointments, invoicing and overall customer service within a healthcare setting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the flow of medical information between physicians, patients and third‑party payers, using accurate medical coding to generate claims.
• Act as liaison with payment parties to investigate, verify and update claim information, handling denials when necessary.
• Review patient medical records and coordinate with billing specialists to ensure correct treatment codes.
• Prepare and submit insurance claims, obtain timely approvals for investigations and procedures.
• Invoice medical services according to agreed prices, assemble reimbursement claims and ensure CPT codes are accurate.
• Enter patient data into electronic and paper records, organize charts, and mail billing statements.
• Resolve payment conflicts, investigate potential insurance fraud and support legal inquiries.
• Deliver high‑level customer service, answer queries, guide clinic traffic and maintain patient confidentiality.
