Procurement & Logistics Specialist

About the role

The Procurement & Logistics Specialist will lead the end‑to‑end purchasing and supply chain activities for Afrah Tobacco’s operations in Dubai. Reporting to the supply chain manager, you will ensure that materials and products are sourced, received and delivered efficiently while complying with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Issue and manage purchase orders for raw materials and finished goods.
• Evaluate and select suppliers, negotiate contracts and monitor performance.
• Maintain compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
• Control inventory levels using the company’s inventory management system.
• Identify opportunities to improve supply‑chain efficiency and reduce costs.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to guarantee timely availability of resources.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of purchase orders and procurement processes.
• Experience in supplier evaluation and contract negotiation.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably tobacco, is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving business setting.
