Registered Midwife

About the role

The Mediclinic Welcare Hospital in Dubai is seeking a Registered Midwife to join its multidisciplinary team. The role focuses on delivering patient‑centred, evidence‑based midwifery care across antenatal, intrapartum and post‑natal periods while ensuring the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to pregnant women, delivering mothers and newborns in line with clinical standards and UAE legislation.
• Identify, prevent and manage clinical risks to maintain patient safety, following the hospital’s risk policies.
• Support positive experiences for patients and families by creating a welcoming environment under nursing leadership.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all nursing interventions in accordance with legal and company requirements.
• Mentor, supervise and coach junior staff and learners to foster a continuous learning environment.
• Manage and utilise medical stock and equipment efficiently according to Mediclinic guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Midwifery or a related health discipline.
• Minimum two years of midwifery experience in the candidate’s home country.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Commitment to patient safety standards and ethical practice.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
