Repairs Officer – Component and Powerplant

About the role

Emirates Engineering, a GCAA CAR V approved maintenance facility supporting Emirates and dozens of other airlines, is seeking a Repairs Officer for Component and Powerplant. The role involves planning, monitoring and administering aftermarket repair processes for aircraft components, engines and APUs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and cost‑effective turnaround.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with repair service providers to manage component, engine and APU repairs, overhauls and modifications within agreed RTAT.
• Analyse development opportunities for in‑house capability and alternative repair solutions to improve supply‑chain efficiency.
• Review scrap dispositions, warranty applicability and disposal justifications according to contractual terms.
• Administer repair orders, verify quotations, ensure correct work scope, warranty status and contractual compliance.
• Engage with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries, monitor delivery performance and drive corrective actions.
• Support AOG and critical shortage mitigation by securing required parts promptly.

Required profile

• Proven experience in aircraft component or power‑plant repair administration.
• Strong understanding of aviation regulatory standards and warranty processes.
• Ability to evaluate supplier performance and implement improvement plans.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
