Retail Sales Assistant – Store

About the role

The Sales Assistant plays a key part in driving sales and delivering a positive customer experience at the IKEA store in Jebel Ali. You will support daily operations, ensure the market hall area meets high standards, and help achieve weekly sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Meet or exceed weekly sales targets.
• Provide customers with up‑to‑date product information.
• Participate in all market‑hall inventory activities.
• Greet customers promptly with a smile and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑presented store environment.
• Follow IKEA policies and procedures fully.
• Attend store meetings and complete duties assigned by the shopkeeper.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• At least 1 year of retail sales experience.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift products and stand for a minimum of 8 hours.
• Warm, friendly greeting style and customer‑focused attitude.
• Commitment to Al‑Futtaim and IKEA values.
