Sector Enablement Senior Consultant – 12‑Month Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Sector Enablement Senior Consultant to join a 12‑month freelance assignment with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi. The consultant will drive a high‑impact programme that accelerates growth of Abu Dhabi’s culture, tourism and digital ecosystems through talent development, community engagement and strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define the function’s strategy, vision, KPIs and design the operating model across multiple verticals.
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable workstreams, support recruitment and onboarding, and ensure alignment with the target operating model.
• Develop talent attraction and upskilling programmes, manage partnerships with universities and training providers, and monitor talent pipeline metrics.
• Create content and communication strategies, design B2B events, community platforms and digital engagement tools, and foster ecosystem visibility.
• Support the formulation of an eSports strategy, roadmap and operating models, and manage partnerships with industry players and federations.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in top‑tier management consulting (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Strategy&, Kearney, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, ADL).
• Demonstrated career progression with at least one promotion and experience at Senior Consultant or Junior Manager level.
• Strong structured thinking, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills across government, private and community sectors.
• Proven ability to operate in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments and deliver clear communication and presentations.
• Relevant exposure to talent development, ecosystem or community initiatives; familiarity with eSports or digital creative ecosystems is a plus.
