Senior Manager – Platform SDLC Engineer

About the role

DeepLight AI is seeking a Senior Manager – Platform SDLC Engineer to lead secure software development lifecycle initiatives for a major banking client. Embedded within the client’s engineering teams, you will ensure security is built‑in across AI and data platforms while aligning with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Define, deploy and standardise secure development frameworks and guardrails for all software and data platform workstreams.
• Design and integrate automated security testing tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning) into enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
• Oversee identification, triage and remediation of code‑level and infrastructure vulnerabilities before production release.
• Validate that every software release meets internal security baselines, regulatory mandates and automated governance gates.
• Provide technical guidance to platform and DevOps engineers, fostering a Shift‑Left security culture.
• Report pipeline security metrics, compliance health and systemic risks to senior technical and risk leadership.
• Coach and mentor team members, supporting their growth while delivering high‑quality results.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) within regulated industries, preferably banking or financial services.
• Proven track record of implementing security controls in CI/CD environments.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and governance frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills to bridge development, security and risk stakeholders.
