Senior Specialist, Planning & Performance

About the role

The Senior Specialist, Planning & Performance will provide technical expertise to the Manager of Technology Portfolio Management & Strategy within ADNOC's Upstream Technology & Innovation Center. The role ensures timely planning, budgeting, scheduling and performance measurement across multiple technology projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the initiation and definition of the annual performance process, coordinating with all relevant teams and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain the Master Schedule, monitor project timelines, budgets, resource deployment and address any time overruns.
• Collate, review and prepare the Technology Unit’s capital and operational budget plans.
• Update and maintain systems and procedures for project planning, scheduling, progress measurement, reporting and trending.
• Support the annual KSI process, ensure timely closure of KSI items and assist teams in gathering required evidence.
• Plan and coordinate technology seminars with partners and Group companies to disseminate latest advancements.
• Lead preparation and review of scope documents for service contracts, work orders and modifications, ensuring alignment with stakeholders.
• Develop Technology Balance Scorecards for performance monitoring of digital solutions.
• Provide ad‑hoc administrative support, prepare presentations and reports, and conduct studies to assess portfolio opportunities.
• Perform project quality control, peer reviews and support deployment of pilot projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project planning, scheduling and performance measurement within a technology or industrial environment.
• Strong background in budgeting, capital and operational financial planning.
• Knowledge of audit compliance and best practices for performance reporting.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
