Shipping Executive – Import & Export Operations

About the role

The Shipping Executive will manage both import and export activities for a fashion‑focused retail business operating from Jebel Ali, UAE. You will act as the central point of contact for suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents and internal teams to ensure smooth, compliant movement of goods across the GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process import booking details, coordinate with freight forwarders, and monitor customs clearance and delivery.
• Handle export booking requests from the sales team, ensure compliance with GCC regulations, and oversee shipment movement from the UAE to GCC countries.
• Verify and maintain all shipping documents (commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading/airway bill, certificate of origin, customs paperwork).
• Maintain accurate shipment records, prepare weekly and monthly reports, and share updates with team leaders and management.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in shipping, logistics or supply‑chain operations within the UAE.
• Hands‑on experience with both import and export shipments, preferably in fashion retail.
• Strong awareness of UAE and GCC import/export regulations and compliance requirements.
• Immediate availability is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
