Solutions Architect

About the role

The Solutions Architect will design and deliver innovative enterprise solutions for Etihad Airways, focusing on scalability, AI/ML integration, and digital modernization. Working from our Abu Dhabi hub, you will partner with business and technology teams to shape roadmaps, governance frameworks, and future‑proof platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design scalable, reliable enterprise solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Lead large‑scale IT projects, ensuring integration, interoperability, and performance.
• Drive innovation through AI/ML‑based solutions and emerging technologies.
• Translate business requirements into technical architectures and guide cross‑functional teams.
• Maintain compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
• Establish governance frameworks and keep architectural documentation up to date.
• Identify and mitigate risks to optimize reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to align design, timelines, and deliverables.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Monitor system performance and recommend long‑term improvements.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise solution architecture or complex IT solution design.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale IT projects.
• Experience driving innovation and adopting new technologies, especially AI/ML.
• Strong background in Agile methodology.
• Preferably experience in the airline industry.
• Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, SAFe Architect, Open Certified Architect, UML, or ArchiMate.
