Support Engineer (DevOps / SRE / Production Support)

About the role

We are seeking a high‑performing Support Engineer to join our forward‑thinking Development & Engineering team in Abu Dhabi. The role blends production support, DevOps, and modern SRE practices with a strong focus on automation, observability, and AI‑driven operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for applications, APIs, data platforms, and event‑driven systems.
• Lead incident management from triage through resolution and root‑cause analysis.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Manage Azure cloud infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM).
• Enhance monitoring, alerting, tracing, and dashboarding capabilities.
• Automate workflows, runbooks, and remediation processes.
• Support data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and platform operations.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure production readiness and release reliability.
• Leverage AI tools for incident triage, diagnostics, and proactive issue detection.

Required profile

• 7‑10+ years of experience in support engineering, DevOps, or SRE.
• Strong background in Azure services (App Services, AKS, Functions, SQL, etc.).
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD, containerisation, and orchestration.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for automation and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise‑grade system support.
• Preferred experience in financial services or complex data environments.
