Team Leader – Lobby Lounge (Luxury Hotel)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Team Leader to oversee the daily operations of the Sahn Eddar Lobby Lounge at Jumeirah Burj Al Arab, one of the world’s most iconic luxury hotels.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily F&B operations and guide the service team to meet departmental goals and service standards.
• Lead pre‑shift briefings to communicate duties, updates and management directives.
• Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring team motivation, productivity and consistent guest service.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, escalating when necessary.
• Maintain accurate reports, conduct regular checks and audits to uphold quality and compliance.
• Provide expert guidance on food, beverage and destination‑dining themes to create memorable experiences.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar team‑leader role with a strong F&B background in a 5‑star luxury property or branded restaurant.
• Fluent in English and a second language (Russian or other European languages preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products and hospitality systems such as Opera (Cloud), Micros and Sevenrooms.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment and confidence in handling complaints of varying severity.
