Technology Business Analyst

About the role

The Technology Business Analyst bridges the gap between business needs and technology delivery within the Research, Development & Innovation (RDI) arm of Dubai Future Foundation. Working closely with the Head of Technology, the role translates strategic objectives into concrete system and process requirements to ensure digital platforms and research tools meet real user needs.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business and system requirements for technology solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including stakeholders and technical developers, to align initiatives with RDI’s research and innovation agenda.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business users and technical teams, facilitating clear communication and understanding.
• Support the design, development, testing and optimisation of digital platforms, research tools and innovation initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and ensure solutions are scalable and future‑proof.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a technology‑focused environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Familiarity with research, development or innovation projects is advantageous.
