Treasury Analyst

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Treasury Analyst to join its Abu Dhabi team. In this position you will support the optimisation of banking and funding strategies while delivering financial insights that enable informed business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the daily cash position across all bank accounts.
• Assist in preparing cash forecasts and initiate electronic funds transfers and wire payments.
• Maintain bank account records, signatories, mandates and coordinate account openings, closings and changes.
• Serve as the primary contact for banking‑related matters and manage corporate credit cards and payment platforms.
• Analyse bank fees and foreign‑exchange charges.
• Process invoices in the ERP system, ensuring correct GL accounts, cost centres and project codes.
• Support vendor setup and banking information updates.
• Coordinate issuance, amendment and cancellation of performance bonds, bid bonds, tender guarantees and advance payment guarantees, tracking expiry dates and conditions.
• Ensure compliance with internal accounts payable and treasury policies, including SOX controls.
• Assist internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation.
• Perform ad‑hoc treasury and accounts payable tasks as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• Post‑graduate qualification or semi‑qualified Chartered Accountant, CMA or equivalent.
• More than 4 years of progressive treasury or accounts payable experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Exposure to GCC tax laws is desirable.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
• Strong understanding of bank account management, cash management and bank guarantees/bonds.
