History Teacher – International School in Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a History Teacher to join GEMS Founders School in Dubai starting August 2026. The role offers international exposure for early‑career teachers and a career‑advancing opportunity for experienced educators within a British Schools Overseas accredited institution.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging History lessons for GCSE and A‑Level students.
• Develop and share exemplary teaching practices and curriculum resources.

Required profile

• BEd or Bachelor’s degree in History with PGCE/PGDE or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience teaching GCSE and/or A‑Level History.
• Creative, enthusiastic approach inside and outside the classroom.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with colleagues, students and parents.
• Track record of outstanding learning and teaching outcomes.
