Junior HR Business Partner – Retail

About the role

The Junior HR Business Partner supports the Retail division of Al‑Futtaim Group by assisting with talent acquisition, employee engagement, learning & development, budgeting and HR reporting. The role ensures HR data integrity in SAP, compliance with personnel administration, and provides generalist support to the HR Operations team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior HRBP and HR Operations Manager in gathering manpower requirements and validating budget assumptions.
• Maintain headcount tracking, compile HR reports, analyse variances and prepare PDR documentation for levels F and below.
• Support recruitment for band G and below, manage requisitions in SuccessFactors and ensure hiring is completed within 45 days.
• Review disciplinary cases, prepare warning letters and ensure timely filing of disciplinary actions.
• Train store administration teams on data‑keeping standards, conduct HR cost checks, and ensure accurate payroll processing.
• Perform regular SAP audits to verify workflow accuracy and employment status changes.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labour legislation and HR best practices.
• Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail for budgeting and reporting.
