Group Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Group Financial Controller to lead the financial function of our manufacturing group in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for consolidating financial results, driving performance, and ensuring compliance across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and consolidated financial reporting for the group.
• Prepare accurate, timely consolidated financial statements.
• Lead financial planning and analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Manage the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
• Develop and enforce internal controls to meet UAE financial regulations.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital and liquidity across all entities.
• Provide strategic financial insights to the executive team.
• Ensure tax compliance and liaise with tax authorities.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team.
• Identify and mitigate currency, credit and market risks.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA, ACCA or CMA preferred.
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller in a multi‑entity, preferably manufacturing, environment.
• Strong knowledge of UAE financial regulations, accounting standards and tax laws.
• Analytical, strategic mindset with excellent problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience with financial consolidation and reporting systems.
• Demonstrated leadership and team‑development skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic setting.
