Outsourcing Transition Lead – IT Managed Services

About the role

The Outsourcing Transition Lead will drive the end‑to‑end transition and operational mobilisation of a large‑scale IT Managed Services engagement. Reporting to the Programme Director, the role ensures continuity, staff rebadging, operational readiness and steady‑state BAU delivery across Abu Dhabi, Dubai and the wider region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the transition programme across Service Desk, Infrastructure Operations, NOC/SOC, End‑User Services, Cloud Operations, Applications Support and Vendor Management.
• Develop and manage the transition roadmap, milestones, dependencies, risks and governance structure.
• Oversee rebadging of client staff, ensuring compliance with UAE labour regulations and Emiratisation requirements.
• Establish ITIL‑aligned governance frameworks (Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Service Level Management).
• Implement operational reporting, KPI tracking, SLA governance and service review mechanisms.
• Coordinate setup of NOC, SOC, Helpdesk, monitoring platforms, CMDB, ITSM tooling and reporting dashboards.
• Serve as primary interface between client leadership, delivery teams, offshore centres and vendors.

Required profile

• Proven leadership in programme and IT service management within outsourcing or managed services environments.
• Experience managing workforce transition, rebadging and organisational change.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with senior IT, procurement, HR and cybersecurity leaders.
• Ability to drive operational readiness and ensure seamless hand‑over to BAU operations.
