Reservations Agent

About the role

The Reservations Agent will manage all inbound reservation enquiries for Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi, ensuring guests receive accurate information and a seamless booking experience. This full‑time position works closely with the sales and front‑desk teams to maximise occupancy and revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, changes and cancellations received by phone, fax or mail.
• Identify guest needs, recommend appropriate room types and verify availability and rates.
• Explain guarantee, special rate and cancellation policies to callers.
• Enter reservation data accurately into the hotel reservation system, including special codes for complimentary rooms, employee discounts and travel‑agent rates.
• Document and accommodate special guest requests and answer questions about hotel facilities and services.
• Apply sales techniques to optimise revenue and follow escalation procedures for guest concerns.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain professional appearance and protect guest and company confidentiality.

Required profile

• Strong verbal communication skills with a clear, professional telephone etiquette.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple reservation enquiries simultaneously.
• Attention to detail when entering data and verifying rates.
• Customer‑focused attitude with the ability to anticipate and address guest needs.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, push or pull objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
