Technical Product Owner – dnata Cargo

About the role

Emirates Group IT is looking for a Technical Product Owner to lead the dnata Cargo technology portfolio. You will act as the voice of the customer, guiding multiple engineering teams through the full product lifecycle, from concept to operation.

Key responsibilities

• Define story content, acceptance criteria and sign‑off for backlog items across features, non‑functional requirements, BAU and technical debt.
• Capture, refine and prioritize technical debt, non‑functional requirements, ceremonies and spikes within sprint capacity.
• Prepare contributions for PI demos and ensure alignment with other Product Owners.
• Maintain feature quality and integrity, flagging risks and dependencies to the product portfolio backlog.
• Participate in PI planning and other Product Management meetings.
• Define and track metrics to measure success and performance of prioritized work.
• Help build a community of Product Owners and promote best practices.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of product ownership in an agile environment.
• Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering teams.
• Experience managing backlogs that include features, NFRs, technical debt and BAU work.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
