Technician Painter (Hotel Maintenance)

About the role

We are looking for a Technician Painter to join the maintenance team at Jumeirah Al Qasr, a 5‑star luxury hotel in Dubai. The role involves delivering high‑quality painting and surface‑care services across the property to maintain the hotel’s premium appearance.

Key responsibilities

• Review painting requests, gather tools and assess the work required.
• Perform painting, touch‑ups, surface preparation and routine maintenance in guest areas, corridors and back‑of‑house spaces.
• Respond politely to guest or staff inquiries, provide information and resolve aesthetic or maintenance issues promptly.
• Complete work orders, preventive and corrective maintenance tasks as directed.
• Collect and record materials from the engineering store, ensuring accurate inventory tracking.
• Log all tasks performed and report any damages or out‑of‑scope issues to team leaders with recommended solutions.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of painting or maintenance experience in a luxury 5‑star hotel, preferably in the UAE.
• Secondary education; vocational certification or trade qualification is a plus.
• Basic computer literacy and awareness of safety and building systems.
• Fluent in English and able to work independently in a diverse environment.
