Classroom Assistant (UAE National) – Immediate Start

About the role

Aldar Education is looking for a UAE National Classroom Assistant to join Pearl British Academy in Abu Dhabi with an immediate start date. The role supports teachers and pupils throughout the school day, ensuring a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to pupils inside and outside the classroom.
• Assist with the implementation and monitoring of individual education programmes.
• Support pupils with additional needs, including emotional and behavioural challenges.
• Maintain pupil records, prepare displays of student work, and help with photocopying and material organization.
• Supervise pupils in classrooms and other school areas, enforce health and safety policies, and contribute to behaviour policy development.
• Check attendance, reorganise classroom materials, and assist teachers with academic tasks.

Required profile

• UAE National with at least a secondary school certificate (or a bachelor’s degree).
• Minimum two years of experience working in a school setting.
• Strong English language proficiency aligned with the school curriculum.
• Experience supporting students whose first language is not English.
• Commitment to the well‑being and holistic development of children.
