Cloud Cyber Security Architect

About the role

Our client is seeking a Cloud Cyber Security Architect to lead secure digital transformations for enterprise customers. The role focuses on designing multi‑cloud security solutions, implementing Zero Trust principles, and ensuring compliance with regional regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Security Architecture Design: Create end‑to‑end cloud security frameworks (SABSA, TOGAF) emphasizing Defence in Depth and Zero Trust.
• Platform Expertise: Architect secure multi‑cloud environments (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) with strong focus on Identity & Access Management (IAM), data protection, and network segmentation.
• Compliance & Governance: Align security roadmaps with UAE regulations and global standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIST.
• Client Advisory: Act as a senior, client‑facing authority, translating business objectives into resilient, secure‑by‑design solutions for regional enterprises.
• Threat & Vulnerability Management: Integrate automated DevSecOps pipelines, SIEM/SOC operations, and continuous compliance monitoring.

Required profile

• 10+ years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in cloud security architecture.
• Proven project track record with references; experience in government, banking, telco or retail is highly desirable.
• Consultancy background with a major systems integrator or consulting partner.
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CCSP, TOGAF, AWS Certified Security, Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect) are highly preferred.
• Strong client‑facing communication skills, capable of engaging C‑level stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
