Contracts Administrator – Middle East & India

About the role
Fugro is looking for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join its Dubai team, supporting the Middle East & India portfolio. You will be responsible for the end‑to‑end administration of contracts for small and medium‑scale projects, ensuring compliance, mitigating risk and facilitating smooth project delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Administer contractual terms from award through close‑out and final settlement for assigned projects.
- Monitor performance and implementation of contract obligations to minimise contractual risk.
- Act as the primary liaison with Legal and other stakeholders to ensure contract compliance.
- Draft and respond to client correspondence, including notices and variation requests.
- Collaborate with project managers to address contractual issues related to cost and schedule variations.
- Support preparation of project‑claim documentation and dispute resolution as needed.
- Maintain and track all contractual records, communications and certificates.
- Coordinate with Project Controls Engineer to monitor schedule, cash‑flow and invoice preparation.
- Ensure timely issuance and cancellation of insurance certificates and bank guarantees.
- Assist in negotiating and preparing subcontract agreements in line with compliance requirements.
- Attend client and subcontractor meetings and record accurate minutes.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Proven experience in contract administration, preferably within the Middle East or India region.
