Costuming Team Leader

About the role

Miral Experiences is seeking a Costuming Team Leader to oversee the care, maintenance, and creation of all costume pieces used in guest‑experience shows and special events across its award‑winning attractions. You will work closely with performers and other departments to ensure seamless show operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, construct, and alter costumes and craft pieces for productions.
• Perform backstage duties, including dressing performers during shows.
• Manage daily laundry, ironing, steaming, and coordinate dry‑cleaning services.
• Maintain an accurate, up‑to‑date costume inventory.
• Purchase fabrics, notions, and theatrical supplies on a regular basis.
• Train Guest Experience staff to provide coverage during absences.
• Participate in off‑site and on‑site public‑relations events involving costumes.
• Assist other Guest Experience departments and attend departmental meetings.
• Support the Costuming Manager with administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Higher secondary education or equivalent; associate degree in theatre is a plus.
• Minimum 4 years sewing experience and at least 2 years in the theme‑park or long‑term show environment.
• Proven experience working with performers and managing a small team.
• Fluent in English; additional proficiency in Russian or Chinese is desirable.

Required skills

• Hand and machine sewing, including industrial and home sewing machines.
• Operation of home serger machines.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• English language proficiency.
• Russian or Chinese language proficiency (optional).
