Fine Fragrance Perfumery Laboratory Assistant

About the role

As a Perfumery Laboratory Assistant at Givaudan in Dubai Media City, you will support perfumers by handling compounding and day‑to‑day laboratory operations. You will work in a creative, passionate team delivering fragrance solutions for the SAMEA region.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and execute the full compounding process for fragrance formulations.
• Carry out sampling procedures efficiently, cost‑effectively, and with high quality.
• Remove expired raw materials and manage inventory.
• Check the quality of incoming raw materials.
• Maintain strict compliance with safety norms, laboratory hygiene, and EH&S policies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives as an active team player.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience in a fragrance compounding laboratory or a similar environment.
• Proficiency with computer systems such as MS Office and ERP platforms.
• Ability to work daily in a laboratory surrounded by raw material aromas.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Strong time‑management abilities.
