Game Developer

About the role

Antigen Music is seeking a full‑time Game Developer to create music‑inspired interactive experiences. Based in Dubai, the role follows a hybrid work model, combining on‑site collaboration with remote flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement gameplay features, systems, and tools using a modern game engine.
• Write clean, maintainable code and prototype core mechanics.
• Iterate on gameplay based on feedback from designers, artists, and players.
• Collaborate closely with designers, audio producers, and visual artists to integrate music and visual assets.
• Debug, optimize, and ensure performance across mobile and PC platforms.
• Maintain technical documentation and promote best coding practices.

Required profile

• Strong programming foundation with solid Object‑Oriented Programming skills.
• Hands‑on experience in game programming using Unity, Unreal or a similar engine.
• Understanding of game design principles such as balancing, pacing, and player experience.
• Proficiency with Git or other version‑control systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, Software Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Dubai and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Experience integrating audio or music systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with mobile/PC optimization and performance profiling is beneficial.
